I’m a lawyer in Arup’s in-house legal team. I’ve been with Arup for 14 years and before that worked for two City law firms. My first degree was in mechanical engineering.
I’ve a strong interest in the environment, sustainability and climate change, particularly the opportunities these bring for Arup – and the challenges in terms of risk and reputation. I’m also involved in trying to diversify Arup’s income streams by harnessing the commercial potential of good ideas.
I’m also interested in how organisational ownership influences behaviours. Having worked in partner-owned organisations, the civil service and major corporates, I find the employee ownership model a compelling one.
