I am the Course Director, for the Interdisciplinary Design for the Built Environment (IDBE) Masters Programme at the University of Cambridge.
I trained as an architect at the University of Liverpool and worked in architectural practice for ten years. Later I formed a specialist research consultancy in Cambridge where I worked extensively as a researcher and writer capturing and promoting best practice in energy, sustainability and construction.
I have written many papers and reports, and have edited four books including Interdisciplinary Design in Practice and Designing Better Buildings.
