I am an architect with a keen interest in the evolution and future of cities and the use of prefabrication within evolving cities. My interest in this area was sparked by my thesis on ‘Cities of the future’ in 1964 – it’s never left me.
I designed my first prefabricated housing scheme straight after leaving college whilst working at YRM. Since then I have worked on prefabrication schemes for a number of clients, including the French Ministry of Housing and the National Building Agency in the UK.
In the past, I lectured for many years on prefabrication, especially for low-cost housing, at Brighton School of Architecture.
