I was one of the founders of Arup’s planning practice and now lead the global Planning, Policy and Economics group. I also lead Arup’s government business in the UK.

An economist and planner by training, I first joined Arup in 1990 – in between I worked for London Government. I am currently leading socio-economic work on HS2. I have a growing interest in the localism agenda, city regeneration and funding for regeneration.

I have published widely on many planning issues and regularly give expert evidence at Public Inquiry on socio-economic and planning matters.
