Leading Arup’s global resource and waste management business has given me considerable insight into waste management practises around the world - including the technologies and the processes employed to handle and treat all categories of waste.
I joined Arup in 2007 and have worked at a senior level in the waste management industry for 24 years. During that time, I have developed and operated waste management businesses, as well as facilitating large waste infrastructure projects. My experience includes delivering the development phase of one of the UK’s largest integrated municipal waste management contracts.    
I am a management board member of the Environmental Sustainability knowledge transfer network, which bridges academia and business and is sponsored by the UK government. I'm also a non-executive director of London Remade
