I have been involved in the world of sustainable development for more than 40 years, through the Green Party, Friends of the Earth, the UK Sustainable Development Commission, and now Forum for the Future – a not-for-profit set up in 1996 to help organisations accelerate their journey to a more sustainable world.

Our agenda is 100% solutions-based: innovation and system transformation.  We work with more than 40 global companies, with offices in London, New York, Singapore and Mumbai.

My most time-consuming activity at the moment is promoting The World We Made – a visionary look-back from 2050 to show how it was that we got on top of all today’s most pressing sustainability challenges – including accelerating climate change.
