I am an Arup Fellow and a Director in Arup’s global environmental consulting practice which I founded in 1987 a year after joining Arup.

I have over 40 years’ of experience in environmental, sustainability and planning consultancy spanning most areas, from urban development, energy and water to airport, rail and road infrastructure.

Before joining Arup, I led the natural resources team responsible for development and implementation of planning policies and urban regeneration strategy in the Merseyside Metropolitan area of the UK.
