I am an architect who lives, works and loves cities. As part of Arup Milan's Masterplanning and Urban Design team I work to shape better cities, which I see as collective pieces of art made by the people, for the people, through time.

My research and study focuses on the city and its history, the contemporary urban condition, and future trends. I believe in the power of architecture and urban design as tools for innovation and change.

As an urban observer and as a placemaker, I am fascinated by how architecture and urban design affect people's behaviours and social life, particularly in streets and public spaces.

At the same time, I am concerned by the way urban mobility can affect the liveability of cities and the quality of the urban environment. I think cities should be designed for people, not cars.
