I am an architect by training with a passion for façade design. My interest in façades lies in the challenge of balancing architectural design intent with technical and environmental requirements. I have been with Arup for seven years, working on large and small projects around the world, both as façade consultant and designer.

Growing up without earthquakes and then experiencing the events of March 2011 in Japan made me comprehend how important it is to ensure façades do not create life-threatening situations during earthquakes. Moreover, it invigorated my sense of duty as a trained architect-planner to look at the bigger picture, beyond my daily field of façade work.
