I manage global water research at Arup and am currently leading on holistic Catchment Restoration. My work ensures that projects are focused on working with natural processes to deliver societal, ecological and engineering benefits.

I am an ardent catchment scientist, water specialist and environmentalist. I work to improve and repair catchment and coastal systems and the natural environment in general, whilst promoting sustainable development in the built human environment.

Prior to joining Arup, I worked at the University of Salford where I gained a PhD in Fluvial Geomorphology and Remote Sensing.

I am a Visiting Researcher at Newcastle University, a chartered Water and Environmental Manager, Scientist, Environmentalist and Geographer and a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society (FRGS).
