I’m a Project Manager at the Light House Sustainable Building Centre in Vancouver, Canada. I research and promote human health and wellbeing, and green design in the building community in Canada.

Before I joined Light House, I worked at Arup Associates in London in the Wellbeing and Sustainability group. My background includes a degree in building engineering and graduate degrees in sustainable architecture and environmental psychology

My most recent research looked at the restorative potential of biophilic design in work and living spaces, and I co-authored a review paper on the subject that was published in Buildings in 2015. I’m really excited about the increasing amount of research into and awareness of biophilic design and I love seeing beautiful nature-inspired designs come to life.
