I’m a structural engineer in the Building Engineering team at Arup's London office. I passionately believe in Total Design having started with Arup Associates in 2002 after I graduated from Cambridge University. I now focus on the design of transport buildings such as train stations and airport terminals.

I’m also the deputy chair of our UKMEA women’s network, because I believe that being a humane organisation means genuine equality of opportunity for all, and because I think that true equality for women in engineering will bring wider benefits to both the engineering industry and the rest of society.

In my own time I’m a volunteer crew member with the Royal National Lifeboat Institution on the Thames and a Visitor for the Institution of Civil Engineers Benevolent Fund.
