I am a member of the Advanced Technology and Research group and based in New York City. I have worked on a variety of topics from wind vibrations in tall buildings, to designing skyscrapers that resist earthquakes, to long cable stayed bridges to the renovation of historic buildings.

I have a developing interest in how people experience the built environment and how we can measure and quantify these experiences. I am also very interested in special damping topics such as distributed visco-elastic damping and active vibration control.

My proudest achievement was completing my Ph.D. in structural engineering. During this time I taught undergraduate courses in various engineering topics, an experience I found deeply rewarding.
