As co-curator of Engineering the World: Ove Arup...
I am a Curator in the Design, Architecture and Digital department at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. I am co-curator of the V&A Engineering Season (18 May – 6 November 2016) and the exhibition Engineering the World: Ove Arup and the Philosophy of Total Design.
In my role as curator, I research and develop exhibitions, installations and events programmes that engage broad publics in design. I have an academic background in the history of architecture and design, with a specialism in twentieth-century architecture and design, as well as the fields of contemporary architecture and engineering practice.
Some of my specialist research interests include the intersections of architecture and technology, including the history of engineering and technological spectacles at world’s fairs. I am passionate about experimenting with exhibition formats and expanding curatorial practice for exhibiting architecture.
