Based in Melbourne, I am a civil engineer and planner with many years experience. Having led Arup's infrastructure activities globally for seven years, I became global planning leader in April 2011.
Currently I am also Chairman of the Australian Green Infrastructure Council, a Director of Standards Australia Ltd and a member of the board of the Centre for Engineering Leadership and Management.
In recent years I spearheaded Arup's sustainability activities, policy and strategy. I also have particular interests in Africa with close connections to Arup's practices in the continent.
