I am a director of Arup, a board member for the firm’s UK, Middle East and Africa region and have global responsibility for the leadership and development of our energy business. 

Joining Arup in 1976, I worked on many building projects, spent a year working in Sydney and helped establish the Berlin office in the mid-1990s. I returned to UK for the Channel Tunnel Rail Link (now known as HS1) and St Pancras Station. I formed the successful Infrastructure London Group – undertaking projects such as Msheireb Doha and London 2012.
